# Resync and Delete AI Knowledge Sources

> Keep your AI agent's knowledge up-to-date by learning how to manually resync updated web pages or permanently delete outdated sources.

# Resyncing and Deleting Sources

Website content frequently changes. When you update your pricing pages or rewrite a help article, you must ensure your AI agent learns the new information immediately.

## Resyncing an Updated Source

If a webpage you previously ingested has been updated with new information:

1. Go to the **Knowledge** page in your dashboard.
2. Locate the specific source in the list.
3. Click the **three-dot menu** on the right side of the source.
4. Click **Resync**.

The ZynfoAI system will securely fetch the URL again, delete the old chunks from the database, and generate new vector embeddings based on the updated text. The status will temporarily change to "Processing" while this data sync happens.

## Deleting an Outdated Source

If a page is entirely outdated or you no longer want the AI agent to use specific information for compliance reasons:

1. Locate the source on the **Knowledge** page.
2. Click the **three-dot menu**.
3. Select **Delete**.
4. Confirm the permanent deletion.

Once deleted, the AI agent immediately forgets the information contained in that source and will permanently stop using it to answer user questions.
