Claude (web, desktop and phone), ChatGPT and Perplexity can connect to ZynfoAI by signing in, so you don’t paste a key anywhere. You need to be an owner or admin of the workspace, and the workspace must be on the Pro plan or the 7-day trial. The connector address is:
You can also copy it from Settings → API keys, under Connect Claude or ChatGPT.
The menus below are in other companies’ apps, and they change their names and plans from time to time. If a label is different in your app, look for “custom connector” or “add MCP server”. Check each company’s help pages for the current steps.

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors. On some accounts the page is under Customize → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the connector address and give it a name, such as “ZynfoAI”.
  4. Click Add, then Connect.
  5. Sign in to ZynfoAI if you’re asked, choose what Claude may do, and click Allow. See Choose what the assistant can do.
  6. Start a chat, turn the ZynfoAI connector on, and ask, for example, “Show my open ZynfoAI tickets”.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner of the Claude organization adds the connector first, and then each person connects. Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector.

ChatGPT

  1. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Connectors and turn on Developer mode under the advanced settings. Custom connectors are on paid plans, and a workspace admin may have to allow them.
  2. Create a new connector, name it “ZynfoAI”, and paste the connector address.
  3. Choose OAuth for authentication.
  4. Save it and sign in to ZynfoAI when ChatGPT opens the sign-in page.
  5. Choose what ChatGPT may do and click Allow.
  6. In a chat, turn the connector on from the tools menu.
ChatGPT connectors can’t use API keys, so this sign-in is the way to connect it.

Perplexity

  1. In Perplexity, open your profile, then All settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Custom connector and choose a remote connector.
  3. Paste the connector address, set the transport to Streamable HTTP and the authentication to OAuth.
  4. Save it, then click the connector to sign in to ZynfoAI and click Allow.
  5. In a thread, turn the connector on, then ask your question.
Custom connectors in Perplexity are on paid plans, and a workspace admin may have to allow them.

Choose what the assistant can do

After you sign in, ZynfoAI shows a page that says which app is asking and which workspace it would connect to. Tick what the assistant may do:
  • Search the knowledge base
  • Read tickets
  • Read leads
  • Read contacts
  • Read conversations
  • Read plan usage
  • Ask the AI agent (this uses AI replies)
The assistant can only do what you tick. Click Allow to connect, or Cancel to stop. Nothing is shared until you click Allow.

Disconnect an app

  1. Go to Settings → API keys.
  2. Under Connected apps, click Disconnect next to the app.
  3. Confirm.
The app loses access at once. You can connect it again later. A connection renews itself while the app uses it. If an app isn’t used for 30 days, it asks you to sign in again.

If something goes wrong

  • “Only a workspace owner or admin can connect apps.” Ask an owner or admin to do it.
  • “Part of the Pro plan.” Your workspace isn’t on Pro or the trial. See Upgrade and manage your plan.
  • “This connection request is not valid.” Go back to the app and start the connection again. Don’t reuse an old link.
  • The app asks for a Client ID and secret. ZynfoAI sets that up automatically for apps that support it. If an app insists on typing them in, it can’t use this sign-in. Use an API key instead, if the app supports one.
  • The assistant says it has no ZynfoAI tools. Turn the connector on in the chat you’re using, and check that you ticked at least one thing on the permissions page.
