Credits and AI Tokens
ZynfoAI operates on a transparent, usage-based credit system. Every time your AI agent performs a cognitive action, a small amount of credits (AI Tokens) is consumed from your account balance.How Credits are Consumed
Credits are primarily utilized by two core system actions:- Data Ingestion: When you add a new URL or document to your Knowledge Base, the system uses tokens to read, chunk, and mathematically generate vector embeddings for that text.
- Chat Generation: Every time a user asks a question, the AI agent uses tokens to run a semantic vector search and generate a highly accurate response using a Large Language Model (LLM).
Monitoring Your Token Balance
Navigate to the Credits dashboard page (/credits) to:
- View your current available token balance.
- See your historical token usage trends.
- Set up low-balance email alerts so your AI agent never goes offline unexpectedly due to insufficient credits.
