An assistant connected to ZynfoAI sees a list of tools and picks the right one for your question. You don’t call them by name. You ask in plain words, and the assistant shows which tool it used. An assistant only sees the tools its key or connection has the permission for. If a tool is missing, create a new key, or reconnect the app, with that permission ticked. See API keys.

The tools

Every tool except ask_agent only reads. Lists return up to 50 items at a time, and the assistant can ask for the next page.

Filters

  • Ticket status: open, in_progress, waiting_on_customer or resolved. A call takes one status at a time. To see every active ticket, an assistant checks the first three.
  • Ticket priority: low, medium, high or urgent.
  • Lead status: new, contacted, qualified, converted or lost.
  • Contact stage: visitor, lead or customer.
  • Conversation status: active or ended.

Example questions

  • “Show my open ZynfoAI tickets.”
  • “Open ticket 42 and summarise it.”
  • “Search my ZynfoAI knowledge base for the refund policy.”
  • “List my five newest leads.”
  • “Find the contact with the email jane@example.com.”
  • “Look at my last 10 conversations and tell me what customers ask most.”
  • “How many AI replies have I used this month?”
  • “Ask my ZynfoAI agent whether we ship to Canada.” (uses one AI reply)
You can combine them: “Search my knowledge base for shipping times, then check whether any recent tickets contradict it.”

Limits

  • 60 requests a minute for each key or connected app. An assistant that goes over gets a “too many requests” message and should wait a moment.
  • A search or a question can be up to 2,000 characters.
  • search_knowledge_base returns up to 10 passages, 5 by default.
  • If the monthly AI replies are used up, ask_agent gets the same message customers get.
